Theatre with Teeth Presents

created by Holly Williams

Imagined after the death of her husband, 28 years after her own, Leonard Woold returns home to reconcile with his wife and tell one last important story.
“I meant to write about death, only life came breaking in as usual.”
'Woolf' is based on the incredible true story of one of the world's most celebrated writers, and women, Virginia Woolf. Holly Williams uses playful creativity, physicality and nostalgic storytelling to bring to life the nostalgic fierceness within Woolf's writing.
“I can only note that the past is beautiful because one never realises an emotion at the time. It expands later, and thus we don’t have complete emotions about the present, only about the past.”
Presented by Theatre with Teeth, Exeter University's New Writing Society
